"Stop licking my sweater." Those words actually came out of my mouth the other day, and I had to wonder how many times had that sentence been used in the history of language. Not many, I'll bet... and the times it had must certainly have involved a child. Or a Cocker Spaniel. So we had this idea to have a contest among our web readers
to find the strangest combinations of words that you've ever
used involving your children (Cocker Spaniels are not eligible).
Really simple. Just send us your weird sentence, and we'll post
the funniest ones... maybe even turn the winners into a comic
strip. If your idea makes it into a Baby Blues comic strip, we'll
send you the original hand-drawn strip to remind you ever more
of this exciting contest, and that your kids are turning your
mind into pudding. On April 30 we will announce the winners of the contest. The six runner-up winners will have their quote showcased in a daily strip. The Grand Prize winner will have their quote used in a Sunday strip. Of course, we will give credit where credit is due and mention your name in the strip. We will notify the winners before-hand. The strips will be seen your local newspaper the first week of May. The Rules:
